Nicole is an associate at Nichols Weitzner Thomas LLP. Her practice focuses on a broad range of healthcare regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters. Nicole has experience with Medicare appeals and has assisted in the representation of physicians, dentists, nurses, licensed professional counselors, and other healthcare professionals before their respective licensing boards.
Before joining Nichols Weitzner Thomas, Nicole spent almost a decade working in the mental health field as a licensed professional counselor and clinical supervisor. This experience contributes to the advocacy and understanding she offers to the clients she represents. She is known for her strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
While working full-time, Nicole earned her J.D. and LL.M in Health Law from the University of Houston Law Center and was named on the Dean’s List multiple times. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Nicole is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and is a member of the Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the American Health Law Association, and the American Bar Association.
Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys traveling, scuba diving, equestrian sports, and spending time with her friends, family, and fur babies.
