Bio
Jackie Perlman is an associate at Nichols Weitzner Thomas LLP. Her practice focuses on personal injury defense, oil and gas, real estate, and homeowners’ association litigation. She represents a diverse group of clients, including individuals, corporations, and insurers, and has particular experience handling trucking accident and premises liability claims. She is known for her personable demeanor, strong work ethic, and practical approach to advocacy.
Before joining Nichols Weitzner Thomas, Jackie gained valuable experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury and mass tort litigation, giving her unique insight into the strategies and motivations of opposing counsel.
Jackie earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was a member of the Order of the Barristers. During law school, she competed on the Interscholastic Mock Trial Team, served as Notes & Comments Editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy, and worked as a property law Teaching Assistant. She was also named to the Dean’s List multiple times. Jackie earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin.
Outside the office, Jackie enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, exploring new places, and spending time with her husband, Zach, and their dog, Arlo.
